This continuous process system uses rotary high vacuum filtration to separate solids from waste liquids or sludge. The rotary drum, covered in filter medium, has high vacuum applied to the interior, waste liquid is discharged to the outer surface of the drum and as the drum rotates the internal vacuum draws the water through the filter medium leaving the solids on the drum surface. The solids are discharged from the drum by a scraper; the filtrate liquid is passed to a vacuum separator and discharged.
