Creating a Seamless Information Flow through a Presidential Strategic Project

To dramatically enhance productivity in the Plant Division, Shibuya has launched the "Seamless Manufacturing DX" project, led by a cross-functional organization under the direct supervision of the President. We are redesigning the entire process—from inquiry and order to design, production, and after-sales maintenance—to ensure information flows seamlessly between departments. With an investment of approximately 300 million yen, we plan to complete the development of internal systems and the integration of external solutions by June 2026. By achieving "total optimization" and accelerating information speed, we are driving proactive digital transformation to maximize value for our customers.

Leveraging Data to Support Uninterrupted Plants and Accurate Production Forecasting

The core of this project is to enable all departments to share data accumulated throughout the process, thereby improving the accuracy of production forecasting. This strengthens our production framework to meet diverse needs by optimizing delivery management and speeding up information delivery. While initially rolling out in our flagship Plant Division, we plan to expand this initiative across the entire company and group subsidiaries in the future. Beyond digitalizing our products, we are transforming our organization and corporate culture to establish a competitive advantage as a leading company.
