To meet the robust increase in global orders, Shibuya has decided on a large-scale capital investment, including the construction of new factories within the Kanazawa Techno Park. At these new facilities, we aim to build "Smart Factories" by implementing supply chain DX, optimizing parts processing, and introducing innovative assembly methods. These advancements will increase production capacity by approximately 30% for our latest aseptic filling systems, which promote automation and energy efficiency. We are committed to responding to the needs of our global customers with faster delivery and higher quality.

Doubling Medical Device Production with Robotics to Support Global QOL

At the Wakamiya Plant, our core hub for medical devices, we will replace existing buildings with a state-of-the-art four-story factory. By thoroughly automating processes with robotics, we plan to improve production efficiency for hemodialysis systems and other devices, enabling a production increase of approximately 50%. This project, with a total investment of approximately "17.5 billion yen," is scheduled for completion in January 2027. Through technology and partnership, we continue to support the improvement of Quality of Life (QOL) and contribute to creating a more prosperous future.
