Scaling Renewable Energy Usage with New Projects at the Tsubata and Nomi Plants

Based on our Basic Sustainability Policy, Shibuya is accelerating the use of renewable energy across the group. Following the installation at "Shibuya Packaging System Co., Ltd." last May, our Tsubata Plant began operating a new solar power system this August. This facility is expected to cover approximately 36% of the plant's total electricity consumption with carbon-free power, reducing CO2 emissions by about 273 tons annually. Furthermore, with a new installation planned for the "Nomi Hi-Tech Plant" in 2025, we are committed to driving the realization of an eco-friendly society from our major manufacturing hubs.
