The Company holds so-called cross-shareholdings on a long-term basis for the purpose of maintaining or strengthening business and collaborative relationships with the issuing companies. The Company regularly reviews individual shareholdings from the perspective of economic rationality to assess the appropriateness of continued ownership. For shares that do not generate dividends or whose performance is weak, the Company evaluates future performance trends and recovery potential and considers whether continued ownership remains appropriate, including the possibility of reducing such holdings, from the perspective of improving capital efficiency.
